2009 Spring Festival Banquet

The annual Spring Festival banquet for the Eng Family Benevolent Association Los Angeles Chapter will be held at 6:00pm on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Chinatown. The banquet ticket cost is $20.00 per person; Adult and Children pay the same price. Members 70 years of age and older are free. Members of the Eng Family Benevolent Association's Next Generation Group (NGG) are strongly encouraged to attend and show their support and appreciation for the parent organization's mentorship and sponsorship. The NGG would like to have one or two tables of members for the evening event. If you can attend please email NGG President Janice Ng (pictured right with Menyee Wu Zheng at last year's Spring Banquet) at peisuenng@gmail.com no later than Friday, March 13.

Members of the Eng/Ng Family Benevolent Association's Next Generation Group (NGG) are encourage to invite guests who may have an interest in becoming involved with charting the course of their family association in the 21st Century. Please respond as soon as possible because seating is limited.

Homage to Wu Zhi Zui; Volunteers Needed
In addition, there will be a ceremonial celebration to pay homage to our ancestor Wu Zhi Zui at 12:00 noon the same day at the Association clubhouse with lunch immediately following (no cost to attendees). Members of the NGG are welcome to attend both events on that day. The Eng Association is also counting on NGG members that morning to help in the arrangement of chairs inside and tables outside at the parking lot. Please come by early that morning at about 9:00am to give them your assistance.
