sailing activity survey

Day Sailing Cruise Survey

At the July 21, 2007, NGG Summer Barbecue Social, NGG members discussed ideas for the next gathering to help strengthen the fellowship within the group. A sailing cruise within the safe confines of Queensway Bay in Long Beach was chosen. Rick Eng was appointed to investigate the cost of the boat rental through Marina Sailing. Rick's friend, "Captain" Frank Gelles, would volunteer to take attendees on an early evening cruise from Shoreline Village Marina, pass the Queen Mary and into the bay sheltered from rough seas by the breakwater completed after World War II. If timing permits, we can even escort one of the Carnival cruise liners toward open waters on its three-day sojourn. This survey will help determine interest and head count in order to figure the total cost per person.

If you are interested in this activity, please submit your answers no later than Thursday, August 30, 2007.
