Eng Family Student Scholarships

The 2009 Eng Family Student Scholarship Awards, sponsored by the Eng Family Benevolent Association of Los Angeles, are now opened to applicants. The scholarship awards monies to students of Eng/Ng/Wu Family ancestry in good civic standing and academic excellence. This year, there are new requirements in addition to submitting report cards for review. In order to qualify for consideration, applicants are required to perform a project. Also, there will be a Grand Prize Winner of a $500.00 (U.S.) scholarship to one applicant whose combination of outstanding academic performance and project best represents the ideals and values promoted by the Association. The award winner will be invited to the Eng Family National Convention Banquet on Friday, September 25, to accept his or her scholarship money.

Applicants must submit required materials no later than Friday, August 14, 2009

Presentation of scholarships will be held at a special luncheon on Sunday, September 13, 2009, at the Eng Family Benevolent Association Headquarters at 418 Cottage Home, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
