Join the Next Generation Group of the Eng Family Association

Looking for a place to bond, support, socialize, learn from each others experiences, and perpetuate the Eng Family identity by continuing the customs and traditions of the Old Country? The Next Generation Group encourages, promotes and fosters activities and interests that will aid, assist and benefit the public at large and cooperate with other organizations and agencies having similar purposes and objectives. - "Article III: Membership, Section 1. Eligibility" of the Bylaws of the Next Generation Group state the criteria for admission.
- Be a member of or related to the Eng Family either by birth, adoption or marriage;
- Have the common family surname symbolized by the Chinese character Eng Chinese Character, or if only related, have at least one parent with the common family surname symbolized by the Chinese character Eng Chinese Character

- Be at least 18 years of age; and
- Be of good moral character.
- At least one parent/grandparent with the surname of Eng/Ng/Wu, symbolized by the Chinese Character . Note: Ng is the Cantonese pronunciation of the family name. In Mandarin, the name is Wu. Since Ng has no vowel, many in the United States had change the spelling to either "Eng" or "Ing."
- You must be a current member of the Eng Family Benevolent Association of Los Angeles. Annual dues are $10 per individual. Dues are paid to the Eng Family Benevolent Association of Los Angeles.
- The Next Generation Group complies to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidelines for tax exemption status requirements as articulated in IRS documentation for 501(c)(7) social and recreational clubs. Please see www.irs.gov/pub/irs-tege/eotopicg80.pdf
