A dinner will be held at the Golden Dragon Restuarant in Los Angeles Chinatown at 6pm on July 12, Sunday, to celebrate the 120-year history of Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) and its umbrella community organizations in Chinatown. The Eng Family Benevolent Association will sponsor two tables, including one for the Next Generation Group, to show our support for CCBA and particularly for our esteemed Eng brother, Peter Ng, current president of CCBA, who is spearheading this event. The dinner is $35/person, including a hardbound Commemorative Book, which will go to the U.S. Library of Congress, and other gifts. This book will feature the history of the 26 community organizations, among them the Eng Family Benevolent Association.
