Eng Family Student Scholarship Awards 2011Eligibility
The annual Eng Family Student Scholarship Awards are now opened for applicants. The scholarship awards monies to students of Eng/Ng/Wu Family ancestry in good civic standing and academic excellence. This year, participants will test their research skills on projects that will be based on individuals who have influenced their lives. In order to qualify for consideration, applicants are required to perform a project. Please see if you qualify by meeting the following conditions:
- At least one parent with the surname of Eng/Ng/Wu (
) and is a current member of the Eng Family Benevolent Association of Los Angeles. - Parents/Grandparents have paid their annual dues to the Association
- Enrolled in a public or private school in the greater Southern California area for the school year beginning in Fall 2010 and ending in June 2011. Year-round student applicants will provide the grades from previous four quarters prior to the application deadline.
- Is not on academic probation.
- Students in First through 12th Grades.
- Home-schooled students are not eligible.

Applicants must submit required materials no later than Friday, September 9, 2011
Presentation of scholarships will be held at a special luncheon on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at the Eng Family Benevolent Association Headquarters at 418 Cottage Home, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
